Aretha Khaloo serves as the Director of Operations at Haven on the Queensway, a multiservice charitable organization located in Etobicoke, Toronto. This organization provides food, clothing, and other essential items to those in need. In her role, Khaloo oversees all operational responsibilities and manages a team of staff and volunteers. She has been instrumental in expanding Haven’s services, including establishing a partnership with DoorDash for grocery deliveries to individuals with mobility issues through Project DASH. Additionally, she has worked to address financial challenges and meet the increasing demand for services.

 

Hollie Taylor invited Aretha onto Good Company to discuss “The Gift of Giving,” a campaign launched by JOY Radio and Haven on the Queensway to support families during the Christmas season. Aretha shared details about the various services offered by Haven on the Queensway to assist community members. She also highlighted how the organization has expanded over the past year in response to growing demand.
